The Cipher 160
range of products offers transparent (protocol independent)
encryption of point-to-point or leased-line data links
at data rates of up to 2048 kbps. It is also known as
link or bundle encryption.
It is easy to use, with LCD, data entry keys and smart
card reader on the front panel. The unit is inserted between
the terminal (DTE) and modem (DCE).
The cryptographic functionality is the same as used in
the CipherFax
100 product range.
